Hi guys
So sorry if this question is so stupid.
Is there such thing as being able to record live stream via my computer wirelessly (i am using a sony a6000) and want to use OBS to stream to YouTube? I have heard of something like a HDMI transmitter and receiver but just want to get your thoughts. And what should i do if i wanted to add another cam wirelessly .

The camera needs to be portable so that i can record around the house. But like i said i want to take advantage of OBS to encode and to stream to YouTube for optimal results.

I've searched everywhere, and I'm guessing i cant find anything because it doesn't really exist :(
Much appreciated..

Personally I would just use a cell phone over wifi to do that. But if you HAD to use a mirrorless camera (or really any camera with HDMI output), you could go through a wireless HDMI link to an HDMI capture card. Although you'd still need power for the wireless HDMI transmitter (some are A/C powered, others can be powered via USB using a USB battery pack). No guarantees on range either (although 30-100ft is typically advertised, expect less when going through walls).

Just repeat for more cameras, but it seems needlessly expensive to me.

Another option would be to connect to a laptop running OBS, and use that over wifi, but I'm not sure how "portable" that setup would be for what you're trying to do.

As always, be careful with connections when moving about. I've found those micro connectors (USB or HDMI) to be troublesome when jostled frequently.
