Question / Help Streaming issues using Avermedia Live Gamer Portable

I'm trying out OBS after using Xsplit for some features that I like in OBS however I'm having extreme quality issues with respect to this software.

Currently when I preview my stream the frame rate of the game drops immediately when I start the preview and when I record from the device it's still bad and the qudio de syncs. I've noticed that I have to use the LGP Steam Engine which is not what I have to use in Xsplit. If I use the main card as a source I get a red screen for some reason. I would like to be able to stream and record from my card using OBS with good quality. I have a decent PC so I doubt it's my cpu giving me trouble.

Can someone please provide me with settings or a way to fix the lag / audio issues associated with this capture device and software. Thanks

I have an LGP and I haven't been able to get any quality stream other then using the embedded stream option in RecCentral. Even using it on a seperate stream PC using the stream engine and OBS the stream was extremely jittery. Do you have a newer AMD or NVIDIA card? If so there are versions of OBS that support both VCE and NVENC. I strem using the VCE (AMD) version with my 7950 and stream at 720p/60 with no performance loss at high quality settings.

I'm using a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 770 card. I have no idea what VCE or NVENC is. It's crazy because Xsplit actually runs the stream smoothly but there are sound issues that I don't like in Xsplit that work good in OBS. Can I use this VCE / NVENC to stream consoles. Xbox one, Xbox 360, Wii u?

Thanks for the help. After playing with the settings for about 2 hours I found a way to make it run smooth. Thanks for the help though. If anyone is having issues let me know and I'll post my settings.
