Streaming iPhone audio and visuals through OBS

Hi guys, I'm new to OBS so apologies if this is a very obvious question.

I want to have a video call streamed via OBS but I am struggling to get this to work.

I have got the visuals of the iPhone onto OBS. To do this, I have connected the iPhone into the Mac USB and linked this to OBS using the 'video capture device' source.

But there is no sound coming through the stream. Does anyone know how I can capture the audio?

Have looked into using Quicktime player and iShowU but I'm getting confused. Help please!

I have the same question.

I am trying to capture video+audio off of an iPhone12 hooked up directly through USB-C port via OBS for MAC.
I can get the video captured but no audio. I do have iShowU installed for capturing audio that would be coming out of my laptop speakers (other sources) but getting the audio from the device via USB-C does not seem to be an option even with iShowU-- unless I have something setup wrong.

Anyone have a working solution??
