Hello everyone! I was wondering if someone might be able to help me. I have a desktop that I play from but I want to know if there is some way I can stream from my laptop so that I can reduce the impact streaming has on my gaming performance. Here are the specs of both of my machines:

Desktop:
AMD FX8350
ATI R9270X
ASUS M5A91 LE R2.0
DDR3(800) 12GB
Seagate Barracuda 500GB
Running Windows 7

Laptop:
Lenovo Flex 2
1.7GHz Intel Core i5
6GB DDR3
500GB hd + 8GB SSD
Integrated intel hd graphics 4400
Running Windows 8

Thanks in advance!

Try this fork if OBS. It supports streaming from your R9 270x. Dont do 2 pc setup to a laptop.

for some reason i cant edit that link. Youll have to go to page 1 for the download and other requirements

Hmm...Ok so I'm kind of a noob, I'm sorry. Lol. I went to that link and went to page 1 and read through it a little bit but I still don't know what to do. So that's just a plug in for OBS right? Or is it a separate program entirely? And I just download that and should be good to go?

its a fork of OBS. its when someone takes a program and modifies it for special features, in this case, added support for VCE. you download it and unzip it to a folder somewhere and run it from that directory. there is another requirement but you can see that on the page there. call MS VC ++ runtime. get the version that lines up with x86 (for 32bit OBS) and x64 (for 64bit OBS)

You probably won't see this, but I also have a Lenovo Flex 2 and I don't know if you've tried using OBS on it, but I'm wondering if you have this problem too: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-will-only-show-the-top-left-portion-of-my-screen.28140/
