Hi all,

Is there a way to provide a file or a setup of OBS that preloads all the streaming details and other settings.

This would save time setting up new performers, because they have a tendency to make mistakes entering the details.

Settings are collected in profiles, scene and source setup is collected in scene collections. Both have a feature to import/export in their corresponding menu.

Beware, this might not give the intended result. Profile settings are highly dependent on cpu+gpu power, so if you import settings from a high performance machine on a low pwerformance machine, you will get bad results. The other way round you will not use the hardware to the best of its capabilities.You may end up spending more time correcting the import results than you would if you simply set the settings from scratch.

Scene collections have a similar caveat: many source types refer to physical devices and locations on the machine they were created. If you import these to a different machine, these locations might point into the void.
