Whats up everyone
I know this is probably NOT an OBS issue. However I'm posting my issue/question here to see if I'm alone. Searching Google didn't quite do it for me (kept bringing up old info)
I'm wanting to know if anyone else is having issues streaming Destiny @1080P?
My setup-
PC
AMD 8150 OC 4.6Ghz
Avermedia Live gamer HD capture card
Nvidia 660Ti
"bla bla bla it can handle it no problem"
Internet connection
TWC RR extreme 30 down 5up (I've never had any issues keeping 5up)
Network setup
Cable modem < netgear rangemax router < netgear Switch< PC, PS4, XB1, and other PCs
The issue is that when i try to stream Destiny @1080P I can do so for about 3 to 25 mins before the bandwidth indicator in OBS goes from GREEN to RED in an instant causing me to drop frames like crazy and then it kicks me out of Destiny and returns me to orbit. Other online games I play dont have this issue, Blacklight, the last of use multiplayer, even WoW.
OBS settings
x264 encoder
QB 10
Max bitrate/buffer 3500
CPU preset is veryfast
Im streaming to the Ashburn VA server because I'm in NC

Aero is disabled
Aero seems to be disabled, consider enabling it unless using monitor capture.
Excessive audio bitrate
Audio bitrates higher than 128kbps are rarely needed for internet streaming. Consider keeping the bitrate around 128kbps for optimal bandwidth usage.
Slow sources detected
Some of your sources are taking a very long time to start or stop when changing scenes. If you use video devices such as a webcam, capture card, etc, add them as global sources to prevent this.
Dropped frames detected
3.1% of your frames were dropped due to poor network conditions. Frames are dropped when data can not be sent fast enough to the server you have selected. This is caused by trying to stream at too high of a bitrate, or by the streaming server you selected not being able to accept the data at the rate you are sending.
Try switching servers, especially if you are using twitch.tv. As a test, you could also try streaming to a different provider to check whether the problem is on your end or not.
Note that some ISPs will temporarily increase your upload speed at the start of a transfer - if you only start to drop frames after 30 - 60 seconds, your ISP is likely doing this and you will need to use a lower bitrate.
Finally, if you are using a wireless connection, keep in mind that interference from other radio sources can cause your connection to stutter and drop frames. A wired connection is strongly recommended when streaming.
See https://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8870 for more advice on how to fix dropped frames.
4 issues found (2 major, 2 minor).
Like i said the dropped frames occur all of a sudden and at random times within 25min of game play and it ONLY happens when i try and stream Destiny.
Any Ideas? Please ask for any info i did not post. I tried to think of most things.
Thanks!
