Question / Help Streaming desktop only help?

Hi everyone im building a streaming pc only to stream to twitch via OBS of course.....

i am getting the ryzen 5 1600x
6 Cores, 12 Threads
@3.2GHz Zen (2017)

im hoping this will do the stream in a decent quality etc

but im wondering does the graphics card play a big part for streaming if encoding in x264 cpu

i dont want to build a streaming system only to find that the graphics card cant handle the overlays etc

any help id appreciate ?

GPU doesnt need to be good for a streaming pc. Might consider if you want to use NVEC for local obs recordings, if then look into compatible cards for that.
