I tried streaming BF4 yesterday for the first time in a while. I was able to get it to stream the picture but the game wouldn't even load it was lagging so bad. My second attempt, the game wouldn't even show in OBS as if there was nothing on my screen and the game wouldn't load. I am sure that my settings are optimal according to my internet and pc specs and I was able to stream in the past. All other games work fine. I am running the 32 bit version on 8.1 64 bit only because I couldn't find where to download the 64 bit version.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I am also running everything as admin.

BF4 is quite CPU intensive, and also OBS has some issues with SLI setups (from my experience).
What other specs do you have?
CPU, preset settings, gfx, they all play a part - let us know.

Also: Log file :)

PC Specs:
i7 3770k @ 4.2
2x GTX 570 SLI (never had any problems with this, like i mentioned it works fine on other games)
16gb RAM
Samsung EVO ssd game and obs on same drive

Internet is 50/10

Id have to get the OBS settings when I get home

EDIT: I do know I am down-scaling my resolution to 720p @ 60fps which, again, has always worked in the past.

Your not alone up until last week battlefield 4 using game capture streamed with little to no fps hit. Now game capture won't even work and will freeze battlefield 4 when I hit start stream using game capture. Now I can stream with monitor or window but it hurts my in game to the point of not being enjoyable. So hopefully someone knows a fix

Good to know there is someone else out there with issues. Unfortunately 1 of my GPUs failed when I got home so I was unable to do any testing.

Hey I have a fix it seems. Go to game capture properties. Than click on anti cheat comp. icon. And boom it works no more freezing or black screen. Can't say this is your issue to but makes sense with the update bf4 had with punk buster anti cheat update they had. Hopefully this is the issue. Let me know Was so happy I was so frustrated for this last week spent hours on Google and obs

Fixed the issue it's with orgin. Go to settings and disable orgin overlay. You can only disable overlay for orgin while your not in game. Now I'm back to 120fpa on 720p 60 fps stream.

I just discovered today that when I upload something (youtube) I can then no longer browse the internet until it is done. I recently moved but I have the same ISP (Comcast) but with better speeds. Before I moved I didn't have any issues and I can only imagine it is doing the same thing when I am trying to stream since it is uploading. Any thoughts?

I'll be able to test again tomorrow when my new 780 arrives.
