Question / Help Streaming Audio from Android device to OBS?

Hi!

I am currently trying to livestream audio from my Nvidia Shield Portable (Android gaming device) to my PC. I am using OBS to capture the video part of it, and it works great (using an Android app called Mobizen for that). However, this app does not stream audio, so I need some sort of app to stream the audio from games to be captured in OBS. How is this possible and does anyone have any ideas for me? Please let me know. Thanks!

the shield controls and plays back audio and video from a PC with nvidia GPU (via NVENC) to the shield. so somewhere in there, the audio and video was originally on the PC. so in order to get that back to the PC, you are using a program to get the video back. Just seems redundant.

Anyway, unless that program brings audio there isn't really a way to do this. Mobizen does stream audio back so unless its not working, I dont know what else to tell you.

You have it confused. I am not using Nvidia Gamestream service for this. I am simply playing an Android game natively on the Shield. I want to send that to the PC. That content was not originally on the PC.

I guess I will ask on Mobizen forums or something.

Mobizen doesn't support it. So, I'm back at square one. I need an app that can stream the audio from the Android device to the PC. Does anyone know of an app that is capable of doing that? I can't seem to find one. :(

Okay, so I have an app called Screen Stream Mirroring that I'm able to mirror to OBS using the Video Capture source. So I can see video, but unfortunately no audio as of yet. I have tried dummy audio device, Waveout and DirectXSound, but none of them produce audio either in the stream or on my desktop. The app is clearly streaming audio to a tcp://, and I'm able to see the video just fine, but still can't get the audio working.

Ideas of where to turn next? I'm a bit stumped at this point. Thanks!
