I've been checking a LOT of articles on streaming at low internet speeds.
I've got an average of 1.2+ upload speeds. I understand if my research is right, that I need to stream at 854x480 resolution. I'm however having a lot of issues working with the rest of things. My laptop is running about 7 years old (I know, I really want to replace it) with a first gen i3 at 2.13 dual. I have 8gb of ddr3 ram. I've ran plenty of streams with good internet, so I have no doubt that I can do so on this device. I normally record with My avermedia lgp C678 and my Blue snowball mic.
I'm really not sure about all the settings I need to run though. I get some of it, but then I end up with encoding errors, many missed frams, constant buffering on the viewers end and such. If anyone has the ability/knowledge, I'd really like a good setup for my streaming settings using obs.
