Streaming and Recording simultaneously causes monitor stuttering

Hello,

I use V31.0.2, and have lately been running into an issue regarding stuttering while simultaneously streaming and recording (using the same shared streaming NVIDIA H264 encoders for both).

To describe the stuttering, it's as if the monitor switches to 60hz for a short period, before returning to normal.

My specs include:
CPU: R7 5800x 3d
GPU: RTX 4060 ti

This issue does not appear to be present while only recording or only streaming, it only appears when both are happening simultaneously.

I understand this may be a bizarre case, but any information regarding a possible fix would be greatly appreciated!

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

If you are reading and streaming files from a disc and trying to write to it too, you might try an SSD drive or have separate drives for video sourcing and recording.
