Question / Help Streaming and recording locally at the same time

I'm sure it's been asked before but I couldn't find it on the forum. So if you use Xsplit or FFsplit its possible to both record the footage to your hard drive and stream it at the same time. I know you can do one or the other with OBS but is it possible to stream and record locally at the same time with OBS?

Yes, it's an option in the Broadcast Settings.

But thats the thing, I can choose between "Live Stream" and "File Output Only" and if I choose livestream then people can see the stream but it wont get recorded to my hard drive and if I choose File Output Only it will get recorded to my hard drive but it wont show up on my stream. Is it possible to have both at the same time?

You might want to look just a bit more carefully at all the options in the broadcast settings. Because "save to file" is right below "dashboard link" if you're doing a live stream.
