Question / Help Streaming and Multi-GPUs

Does anyone stream while using a crossfire setup? Have you encountered any sort of issues? How is it as far as fluidity and performance goes? I'm considering buying a second 7870 during black friday and would like to know about any issues and experiences.

I'm using SLI and I have not encountered any problems at all. However, some people have with both sli and crossfire.
A friend of mine with the same gpu's as I have cannot stream with SLI activated. I'm not completely sure what the problem actually is, but he says It just doesn't work good.

Yeah... there seem to be the occasional niggles. I know there is compatibility issues sometimes with games, so it could be what you guys are streaming... could also be the generation of GPU. I don't think I would've tried crossfire or sli before, regardless of streaming, but it's become quite mature in the last few years and actually presents a value perspective for me. Another 7870 for $140 or a R9-290 for $400...

I hoped there would be more people here with experience streaming with a dual GPU setup, really anything, but preferably crossfire since thats what I'm planning on using.

Yeah.

Well, both me and my friend are liestreaming BF4/3, WoW before, Dota at times, CSGO and random other games on steam if that helps any.
