Streaming an US PS1 game on an US PS2

Can anybody help me with how I should do this? I have tried with a component to HDMI adapter through my GameCapture, but can only get a picture on my screen and not in OBS. I also tried with a HDMI adapter that is inserted directly into the PS2, and that's the same situation. Hope someone can help me out.

Thanks for answering my inquiry. I was lucky to borrow a PS3 that can play US PS1 games, so now it works
But do you know if it makes sense to stream a PS1 game in 60fps? Also, does it make sense to stream it in HD, 1080p?
It does take up a lot more storage space, so I was just wondering if it was worth it? Thanks in advance.
