Question / Help Stream without middleman

So lately I've been streaming some games to a few friends, but the twitch delay is really destroying any sort of direct influence the voip conversation is having on the game.

I was wondering could i setup OBS to stream to a program i run where my friends connect directly and I provide the streaming, like a winamp shoutcast server of olden days :).

I am aware i would need good upload, which is not a problem.

So my basic question is, does anyone know a way i can stream directly to my friends without a middleman service such as twitch?
