Question / Help Stream with music while locally recording the game feed and audio?

Hi all. I've been wanting to do some Pepsiman speedrun attempts, but I'd like to have better recordings in case I PB. I play on emulator(ePSXe). I'd like the stream to have the game feed along with my layout and my mic audio. I'd also like to have music playing and no ingame sound on stream. Could I set up a local recording along with that to record just the game feed and game audio and nothing else? I've been told that can be done on console games using Amarec, but I can't seem to find any way to do it with pc games. I'm sure I could use Fraps or something but I'd prefer to do it with just obs.

I have done streams before where I listen to music from a separate device and have the stream play game audio, but even then I'd still like to be able to get a recording without the mic audio.

I would check out OBS MP since you can dual stream.the old solution was two instances of OBS which might work better (the local recording instance using a hardware encoder). the two instances of OBS1 will allow you to run separate overlays as OBS MP will have the same overlay.

your second part of the solution is to use VAC or something similar to input the music and your mic as a separate input.

both guides are in our howto section but I'm to lazy to look at the moment.
