Greetings,

first things first. I'am streaming on Twitch.tv and its planed to transfer the content recorded on Twitch to YouTube. The first trys exposed the problem that YouTube blocks my content because I have quiet (but copyrighted) musik in the backround.

And now the question is; is it possible to stream with music and record without music at the same time to at least cut a video for YouTube?

Thanks for help

Also, streaming copyrighted music on Twitch can also get your channel shut down, as it's still copyright infringement and illegal.

One option would be to run two copies of OBS, one recording locally and one streaming to Twitch. You'd need to set up the local-recording one to use the speakers/default as your system audio, and one streaming to Twitch to use something like VAC (virtual audio cable) as its system input; then set up VAC to grab from the speaker output and a music player set to put out audio to the VAC audio input device, use that to mix them together and stream the result to Twitch. You wouldn't be able to hear the music yourself though at that point.

Really though, the best idea is to stop using copyrighted content unless you have permission.
