I just want to have a smooth stream when i play League of Legends. However my stream seems to develop a stutter every 5-10 seconds or so. its not ridiculously bad, but it is noticable and very frustrating to deal with. I can't count the number of settings I've tried so just lookin for some helpful advice for anything else I may need to try.

If I need to post any more information. I'll try to be around and do so.

I'm curious about how old that model of AMD video card is. Also, make sure that the monitor capture or window capture are not active while in-game, at least if you're using game capture for the in-game.

about 6 years i guess ... also running gddr3 vram pretty much the same problem like running a gtx 260 you cant really stream a stable 30 fps at anything above 540p
but since you are running 480p25 and you still have problems it is almost save to say that your system is just not really capable of streaming properly

His CPU works but his GPU probably can't handle it. People are very uninformed about the fact that streaming requires GPU power too >_<

OP, you have a last-ditch effort. If you get ABOVE 60fps in LoL, try vsyncing LoL. It should lock to 60 and free up some GPU power for your stream. It probably won't help too much, but it might make it "streamable" instead of "no way".

Fair enough. thanks for the responses. I honestly expected this was the case. I will not deny that my computer is quite out of date, but just hearing it from another tech savvy person makes me feel a bit better. I plan on buying/building a new system in the near future, so hopefully that will eliminate the problem.

^^^ @Jim: the card is at least 5 years if not even older for sure.

^^^@alpin: Just feels better hearing that from someone so I can have no doubts my system is just too old to handle streaming. Thanks.

^^^@D2ultima: Might as well try it, tried about damn near everything else haha. Thanks for the response.

Thanks again!
