Stream starting on its own?

We use OBS to stream to YouTube and in the past 24 hours it has started streaming a couple times without anyone starting the stream. There is no content to the stream because the laptop has been off! What possible explanation could there be for this? I assume it's a youtube problem, but wanted to see if people had any other thoughts beyond that the account has been compromised?

How should OBS do anything if the laptop has been off?

if OBS machine is powered off, then clearly not that machine, right?
Are you using a persistent stream key? if yes, have you tried changing it (to make sure something or someone else isn't using it)?
ex. I recall last year someone had set up a 2nd device and forgot about it, and was still using same stream key

See if you have stream auto start enabled in youtube stream settings. In that case any time youtube sees the stream coming from that key will auto start the stream with out you hitting Go live.
