Hi dkwallace, let me answer in language you propably understand. i have a epic-leet computer, lol. I would like to learn to stream, but instead of searching the internet, youtube and help section for a tutorial i'm taking other ppl time and effort to answer a question which is asked oh-so-many times. yeah, idk if i need to answer more as you already know what you should done in first place. sorry bout wall of txt, it's a long read, i know, but maybe you got this far :kappa:, you can skip the later section as it's just mumble jumble :)

Depending of your program and stream type you'll need different amount of knowledge to produce a quality stream. To master everything takes time and patience. You learn alot by reading tutorials, user manuals and help.... and geeking around the topic, there's nowdays so much knowledge on internets and for-free, you just need to take the time and effort to search for it. Another way, the harder one, is just to start streaming something and see how it goes. You will encounter issues, but nearly every issue is solvable by a way or another with time and effort. usually searching and reading forums, or user manual. You usually don't need the latest and flagmodels to do things. It's just how to do the things. For balancing the colors, you might wish to learn how to read video scope and adjust image. if you use external audio and cellphones as cordless camera(s) for multicamera setup, you wish to know how to sync the audio with video, and so on... so geek around, read alot of tutorials and resources, learn by doing mistakes. yeah, mostly start something and try to do your best out of it using the equipment available. Now days equipment is so good, even the cheap ones as light years ahead of things what were pro say 30 years ago. so in the end it's more or less it's just how to use things around you, not about the equipment itself.
