Question / Help Stream Settings Assistance

Hey Guys,

I've been wanting to stream but i've never been able to configure a stream right with my internet, i'm just looking for a simple 480p stream at about 30 FPS (Seeing as i want to try to get into the CSGO casting scene, if 30 FPS seems to much what's a good alternative for an FPS? Also need to be able to watch games and not have the game lag, otherwise it'll be horrid. Need to find a balance but i haven't quite got there yet.) Any assistance with setting up my stream would be much appreciated. I'm also streaming from Australia so that's why the internet speeds are rather mediocre.

Just need some help with stuff like what country/server should i stream to, what general settings etc.

Specs:
- Intel i5 2500k 4.0Ghz
- GTX 770 4GB
- 8GB Ram

Thanks for your time.

Well your upload speed is definitely the problem here. You have to keep a bit free room for csgo as well, so you can watch without lags. So probably you would have to use a max of 450-500kbit for video and the lowest possible setting for audio.
You can lower the fps slightly if it looks too bad, or you might have to lower the resolution. But you will have to test a lot, what your internet connection is capable of doing. Especially 128 tick csgo servers seem to be a problem for streamers, even with extensive upload rates.
