Thanks for stopping by. Couple questions in regards to what might be best for my needs.
I stream multiple games, but namely League of Legends and Diablo 3. Diablo in particular has a lot of density and movement, particles, etc going on 100% of the time. I'm looking to find a mix of settings in OBS that'll accommodate this game.
CPU Advice
My bandwidth to the closest streaming server is 124mbps down, 24mbps up. In game I have about 100 ping, don't know if relevant.
At the moment, this is a single PC streaming set up. I'm not a partnered streamer so I'm only attempting to stream at 30 fps, with a downscale of 720. Does the filter option under the downscale slider have any effect? If I use NVENC? Or even just the regular x264 encoding?
CPU: Intel 3930k
GPU: GTX780
Would it be beneficial to try to use the Nvidia NVENC or Shadowplay or whatever to leave as much CPU power for my games? Assuming that's how that works?
TL;DR, just wanting highest quality without affecting my gaming. Not aiming for 1080 60fps or anything.

CPU Advice
- Set FPS to 30
- Consider setting FPS to 60 if you have spare CPU power for improved quality
- Try to aim for the highest bitrate possible for high motion games
- Use game capture if possible for maximum performance.
- Use window capture with Aero enabled if game capture is unavailable.
- Your upload speed is sufficient for 720p / 1080p
- Enable CFR for compatibility with streaming services
- Enable CBR for improved stream stability
- Recommended max bitrate: 3500
- Recommended buffer size: 3500
