So i've been trying to figure out how to get the best quality out of both livestreaming and saving the stream so i can edit it and upload it to youtube.
Here's my pc specs:
Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 - 4GB - Single Card
Processor - Intel® Core™ i7 5820K Processor (6x 3.30GHz/15MB L3 Cache)
Ram - 16 GB [8 GB X2] DDR4-2400 Memory Module - Corsair
Motherboard - ASRock X99 Extreme3 -- 2x PCIe x16, 4x USB 3.0, 4x USB 2.0

I would like to get 1080p60fps while streaming, and have it recorded to my desktop in the same quality preferred

TL;DR - Don't record/stream at the same time. OR use a separate software like Dxtory to record while you stream.

Honestly, I wouldn't do both. Trying to get 1080p60fps while streaming is highly unlikely with today's technology.
Most people downscale their stream from 1080p to 720p especially when bumping the fps to 60 from 30. The bitrate limitations are too low to maintain high quality video.

Keep them separate. When I do local recordings, if I want near pixel perfect quality at 1080p60 I use Dxtory. You could also use OBS and have awesome video quality, but the bitrate would need to be really high. For example, I record at 25Mbps and it looks great! When streaming, I only use 2500kbps (2.44Mbps).
