Question / Help Stream runs fine, then gets worse after a few hours

Hey guys I'm new to using OBS and have been enjoying it for the most part, I've had one issue lately though and I'm dying to figure it out. I stream for about four hours straight without any problems, but after this I start getting weird lag in my games as if my fps is dropping (but my fps still says its 100+). OBS eventually starts giving me a high encoding warning as well. I'm not sure why its starting to do this after its working fine to so long, if you could help out that would be great! I'll leave my last stream log as well, thanks and I can't wait to hear back! https://gist.github.com/anonymous/eb3791803138c29f8ecc

Are you recording a local copy of your stream? If so, are you recording to an MP4? I had a similar problem. Switching to FLV fixed it for me, and is a good idea for several reasons; most notably because if OBS crashes and you're recording to MP4, the whole thing becomes a pile of unrecoverable digital garbage. FLV loses the last few seconds. Also, MP4 takes a long time to close out on longer videos, and can cause OBS to crash during the process, again rendering the recording into trash.

Beyond that, some have reported problems when streaming over a Killer NIC. Most were fixed by switching their connection to the on-motherboard (usually Intel-based) built in NIC.

Might also want to drop to 720p@30fps, 2000kbps. It's the 'golden point' for non-partnered streamers; 3000kbps will cause many Twitch viewers to go into buffering hell, and just leave for a stream they can watch smoothly. 30fps is also preferable to 40 as it results in a consistent framerate when coming down from a 60hz source.
