Stream resolution

If my monitor base resolution is 1366 x 768, can I stream at 1080p? I think streaming at 768p is rare and 720 at this days is not enough.

Your monitor and streaming abilities are different. I only record locally but I can fire up my cameras and change the resolution for them as well as change the output resolution in OBS all day long with no issues. Now they may look like crap on a low res monitor but the video file is what it is. Move or watch that 1080p video on a 1080p monitor and things are good.
