First of all we'll start with a clip from my Twitch stream.

Hello everyone. So, I'm streaming with a 1 PC setup on Windows 10 using a Ryzen 7 1700x (3.8ghz OC'd) 32gb RAM & GTX 1060 more system details here.
I'm streaming on OBS at 1080p60 6000bitrate faster preset and high profile. Log of the streaming session during the clip here. I know the quality won't be amazing streaming at 1080p60 with only 6k bitrate, but I think it should be better than what I'm getting. My streams have lately just looked a bit washed out and simply not good in comparison to other's streams although I'm pretty certain that my setup should be able to output quality in the top 1%. Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

As someone that streams at 12500Kbps with a 13000Kbps buffer (when i have transcoding), 1080p 60 starts looking good at well 12500Kbps on veryfast, and faster is so small of difference better then veryfast, you are better off doing 720p 60 which starts looking good at about 5500Kbps (on veryfast) and then capping out at 6000Kbps and then try turning down the pc preset to fast (generally every 2 presets you drop you get noticeable better compression vs just droping 1).

From my tests It feels like for every preset you go down you can cut 500Kbps off your bitrate (this is not proven and is stuff i noticed in my tests)
