Hello first time here.
here’s my specs to start.
internet speeds are 600’s down
40’s upload

CPU-i7 10700k
GPU- RTX 3070 8G
Ram- 32GB

I have 2 monitors setup. One is 1920x1080 and the other is 1440. Not sure which one will be better to use. (Why I’m asking you guys) when is comes to base canvas and output resolution.

Obs settings I’m using currently are
X264 , CBR, bitrate at 6k , keyframe-2
CPU usage preset is fast
Profile is main
Tune -(none)

Base canvas is Currently set at the same as output
1280x720
(Now here’s where I’m confused, should I set my monitor resolution the same as my base canvas? And set output as 720? Or Can my computer handle base 1920 and output 1920? Orrrrr would it be better to set my base at 1440 with my other monitor. And put the output to 720?)
Downscale is set at laz 32 samples, I’ve heard people say to use bicubic others say don’t. Fps is set at 60.

Process prio is set above normal
The video render , format and color space are all at default, color space is 601. (Heard to set it at 709?) idk.

I’m at a loss, I’ve tried everything. Hours or research. Now also where I’m confused. My stream looks better when watching from a computer. When watching it on my phone it looks grainy and blurry and pixelated. I want the phone quality to look good because I haven’t learned how to professionally make clips from my computer, ( I work a lot) so I screen record my clips from my phone and post to social media and it just looks bad. Hope you guys can help or at the least share some insight so I can maybe make some adjustments. I feel as if l have some incorrect settings or there’s just something I’m missing or uninformed about. I feel the quality of my computer is strong enough to handle what I’m asking. The phone quality is important to me because that’s what most of my viewers watch from. I have some recent clips of my stream, name is thatthuugdug. Thanks. Also posting this from my phone. So I can’t post a log file at this time.
