Hello. First of all, thanks for everyone who works on that awesome software.
Second, i'm complete noob in streaming world so i may make idiotic mistakes in settings/etc :D
Well ok, for question. I have some wierd problem with stream - it works OK, than (on twitch) lags for several seconds, skipping that several seconds of gameplay (it's not lag, they just disappear).
Spec:
CPU - i5-3570k @ 4.4 Ghz.
RAM - 16 GB @ 1600 CL9
VIDEO - Asus GTX 680 (can't recall model, one with 2GB VRAM and DirectCU II heatsink)
Not sure if mobo and other stuff needed here.
Connection (to Frankfurt, DE, where closest to me server located (i'm located in RU)):
(actually my bw is 80/40, but it seems that provider have problems with EU trunk again, from what i know primary EU trunk is going via SE (telia, AFAIK))
PC is connected to router with gbit cable and router itself is constantly monitored for CPU/TXRX errors/uplink load, so let's assume there is no problems with my network (except crappy EU connectivity)
(nb - latency is around 50-70 when i streaming)
Actually after reading guides i know i can stream 1080p@60fps without any problem with my hardware, but...
I also look onto load of my CPU/GPU and it's doesn't seems to be affected much by OBS.
I use game capture + webcam. Last settings i tried was 1500/1500, q5, downscale 1.5 (to 720p from base 1080p) and i use build from 19th feb.
Btw, small offtopic - is getting capture card helps offload CPU/GPU alot? Maybe someone can recommend good model?
ATM i (silly head) deleted all lagging videos from twitch channel, so i'll try to record another one and logs as well...
But for now, any help? Maybe someone already faced same problem?
UPD: logs - http://pastebin.com/ANS5iH5L, vid - http://www.twitch.tv/lexrivera/b/390267978 - don't lagging now. I think, could it just be twitch servers?
