Hello OBS,

Recently I've built a new budget computer and for some reason, the previewer and the stream stutters every 2-3 seconds. I've never had this before and since I don't want to change anything without knowing what can cause it, I'd rather ask it on a forum.

Those are my computer specs:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.50 GHz
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 5830 (I know, it's quite outdated but my new GPU hasn't been delivered yet)
RAM: 8.00 GB
System OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
I've tried streaming in 1000 bitrate with 30 fps and 3000 bitrate with 60 fps. Unfortunately, both give the same results.

If you're wondering what I'm talking about, I've got a VOD here:

you shouldn't watch your stream from a browser or the OBS preview window while encoding.

1. close all browsers and view stream from a mobile device, another computer or a viewers report. the only browser that doesn't affect streaming as bad as the rest is Internet Explorer with its hardware acceleration. the rest, Chrome, firefox exc use up a lot of CPU just to watch your own stream.

2. disable the preview window. right click on the preview window while previewing or encoding and uncheck enable preview.

Code:
WARNING: Another hook is already present
while trying to hook d3d9.dll, hook target is
unknown. If you experience crashes, try
disabling the other hooking application

you have this in your logfile several times.

1. make sure raptr, razer synapse, overwolf or gforce experience are not installed,

2. disable steam's in-home streaming, and steam's broadcasting from steam settings.

3. pretty much any program that interacts with your game, stream or adds functions or overlay should be either disabled or uninstalled.
