stream poor quality 15k bitrate , max qual , 1920x1080

Can anyone tell me why when I make an obs recording, it looks impeccable, with 15,000 bitrate, and when I livestream with 15,000 bitrate, max quality as in filming it looks miserable? can someone help me ?

your stream gets delivered in h264 and your recording in vp9, youtube doesn't give h264 enough bitrate to look good for gaming.

Try streaming at 1440p, and hope youtube uses vp9 for the re-encode. It's the fact that youtube is using the AVC codec to perform the live re-encode which is hurting the quality, due to the allotted bitrate, and the encoder quality for AVC.
