Bug Report Stream Pixelated During Motion

Hi I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what might be causing my stream to be extremely pixelated during scenes that involve motion. The more motion, the more pixelated it becomes. My game does not lag, and the preview of the stream in the OBS software shows clear images.

Above is an image of my two monitors: the left is the game (Diablo 3) and the right is the stream open in fullscreen with the OBS software on top. I am 100% sure it is nothing to do with my download speed, as I have had other people watch the stream and they report the same pixelation.

Potentially relevant information:

1000 bitrate is nowhere near enough for 1080p. You need at least 3000 for 1080p30fps. For Diablo 3 I wouldn't do much less than 3500 for 1080p60fps with 4500+ being preferred. Note that your processor may struggle trying to encode that. I strongly recommend 720p60fps instead.

Thanks! I tried down-scaling to 720p and the problem was reduced to the point of insignificance. So is it purely a bandwidth problem that causes that sort of pixelation?

You've got an amazing upload speed, why won't you try increasing your bitrate to something near 3000-3500? Stream pixelation can be also caused by using too fast preset with too low bitrate. Lowering your preset should output better quality but the CPU usage would be higher too. It's not recommended to change preset though.

I deleted your ini file from your post, but please reset your streaming key. If at all possible please avoid the posting of ini files, log files are more than sufficient to tell us all that is needed to be known usually.

Anyway, if it's not your bitrate, then make sure to lower your quality value, as the quality value can cause motion issues with lower bitrates if set too high. 5-8 is typically sufficient for most peoples needs
