Hi :)

Is the Amd 8320 (will Overclock) good to a dedicated stream pc ? or spend more money on a 4770k/4790k

Will use the avermedia c985 capturecard

Will do 720/60fps to twitch/Youtube

I use an fx-8320 to stream (overclocked to 4.0 on liquid) and it never goes above 40% load on a single core. The real question between the two is power consumption an issue for you? The FX-8320 consumes 33$ of electricity a year at stock settings.

Also, Intel processors are slightly better at H.264 encoding, a lower clocked Intel can pull off what an overclocked AMD can.

Is it worth the extra money to you in the end? It kind of ends up paying for itself over time but I personally like my 8320 vs any I5 around the same price point. You can't compare an I7 to an 8320 because of the marginal price difference. The AMD FX-9000 series would be a better price comparison for an Intel vs. AMD debate.

For a dedicated streaming PC the AMD should already be ok. If you want to save some money and dont want to run the slowest preset that is. If you can go all out, go for Intel!!! But I personally would get the 4770k and just overclock it myself to have a 4790k :)
