Question / Help Stream one way, record another?

Apologies if this isn't the right place for this question, please let me know if I should move.

Is there a way to stream to twitch in real time, and record the stream as well but in a different format? What I mean is, streaming with my overlay, webcam, mic audio, etc, but to have only a certain source and audio track to be recorded, like if I just want to record gameplay and game sounds while streaming everything else.

TIA

You can split audio tracks in recordings, and there is a guide for that. There is no easy way to stream and record different visuals. You would need to have one instance of OBS recording your clean output, while another instance of OBS uses that clean output and puts the overlays on top before sending that to Twitch. That's possible, but would require either a very powerful single machine or a decent 2 PC setup.
