I am new to streaming and while learning and setting up everything I have come across a problem I can't seem to find the answer to. I am currently attempting to stream using a Blue Yeti USB microphone and what happens is that my stream sounds perfect until eventually the mic audio starts becoming noticeably distorted. This doesn't correct itself until I restart OBS. It should be noted that only my mic audio becomes distorted, all audio from the Desktop remains perfect.
I managed to pin-point the possible issue, and that is the fact that something is adding an audio buffer to my microphone within OBS. I stopped using Voicemeeter Banana and even any virtual cables so that I could try to isolate the issue. The only other things that I am running are a few filters.. ReaComp, ReaEQ, Noise Gate, and Noise Suppression. The audio buffering happens both with and without voicemeeter. In the below log files "VoiceMeeter Output (VB-Audio VoiceMeeter VAIO)" is my microphone audio coming from Voicemeeter. If I simply select my microphone audio straight from the Blue Yeti it does the exact same thing.
Things that I have tried and have not worked:
-Disabling buffering within my webcam
-Setting webcam resolution to 720p
-Making sure Device-Timestamps are disabled on all devices within OBS
-Setting my Mic as a separate source (not using the default Mic input in OBS)
I will attach two separate log files. One with a stream that has the audio buffering that is causing the issue (essentially it buffers the mic until the max buffer is reached, and the the problems start occurring).. and the second log will be my possible "fix." I noticed that it was adding 42ms of buffering on regular intervals so I added an offset with advanced audio properties at 45ms. The log file no longer shows audio buffering, but I am worried it might be happening in the background and just no being logged because of how I tried to work it out.
Any and all help on this would be greatly appreciated.
