Question / Help stream looks pixelated when it shouldnt be

i have my downscale set to 1200x700. its like that cause my monitor is 1680x1050. but ive even had less of a downscale and when i watch my stream on my tablet i notice that when i move around in games the picture starts to get a little pixelated. i wish i had a screenshot ill try and provide one. its even like this for my friend but his is WORSE. cant even see what hes doing sometimes but he uses xsplit and doesnt know shit about the settings. when i watch other popular streamers i can see the pixelation but its not bad. can hardly see it. any ideas on how to fix??

Post a log file from the Help menu (just 'upload' and post the link here).
Pixelation generally means you're using too low of bitrate for your resolution/framerate though.
Those black bars are normal, you're streaming a non-16:9 aspect ratio. The player forces it to 16:9 unless fullscreened on a matching-aspect monitor.
