So I posted this in Questions and Help but I think it should be here so here is what I have gotten so far.

So I have been using multiple streaming sources from ffsplit to xsplit, now I am trying OBS and recently I have been having a problem with my Twitch.TV videos Lagging pretty bad. I am using wireless internet but here is a refrence video of what I am talking about http://www.twitch.tv/wigsplitter1505/b/406239042 You will have to go about a minute into the video to see the lag, you can see it a little earlier but that is around the best time to see it. That is my twitch account I can try to move it to youtube If i need to but it is easier if I just link you to that short video. Here are my logs http://pastebin.com/S0DMZdrH

I am running a very good internet so I dont understand why I am having trouble, here is my speed test.

you can look at this at http://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4360

BTW usualy my down is about 50-60 and my up is about 12mbps.

My computer is a decent computer as well, here are my specs.

Intel i7-2600k 3.40GHz (8 cpus)
16gb ram
GeForce GTX 650 card

I dont understand why It is so laggy help would be very appreciated!

Was asked to run Shaper Probe and these where my result.

Estimating capacity:
Upstream: 10500 Kbps.
Downstream: 84367 Kbps.

The measurement will take upto 2.5 minutes. Please wait.

Checking for traffic shapers:

Upstream: Burst size: 36033-36425 KB;
Shaping rate: 37 Kbps.

Downstream: No shaper detected.
Median received rate: 52490 Kbps.

Help would be very much appreciated. (NOTE) I have tried a lot from turning my game setting lower my preset a little lower and a different twitch server. Not much has helped at all. I am starting to think it might be my wireless internet usb adaptor? thoughts?

So far it looks like your ISP is throttling your upload; they may have a policy against streaming. However, this -can- be a twitch-related load problem, and while you did try another server, you should use http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmes ... _id=326034 this tool to find a few good servers and try testing it on those. If you still have drops in your upload bitrate, it seems very likely it is either your ISP or router.

If you can sustain an upload test on http://speedof.me then it is not likely to be your wireless adapter.

Thank you for the reply, I have been using that tool to find the best server for twitch. I don't think its my ISP I am using comcast and have looked at the agreements and saw nothing about that. After running the speedof.me test I believe it is my usb adapter because when i run it my download goes about 10 and upload doesnt load at all. Would you agree?

You're using a USB wireless card? That's going to pose some big problems...USB wireless cards are not the greatest. If speedof.me won't even run the upload test, you have some major upload issues which would prevent you from streaming.

I am using an wireless USB adapter for my internet. Not sure what you ment by card, ya thats what I thought I am going to start wiring my house here pretty soon now. I hope that is the issue and it can be fixed by doing so.

Yes, adapter, card, same thing: it plugs into the USB port, so you're kinda SOL. If this is a tower computer get a PCI wireless card...if it's a laptop, and has a PCM-CIA port, get a PCM-CIA wireless card. If it doesn't have either of those, then you're pretty much boned in terms of wireless streaming potential.

Yes for gaming and streaming, which is very demanding, a USB adapter isn't going to work very well. They're mainly just for basic internet stuff. You'd be best to wire your internet or find a very good wireless PCI card.

You can even buy a chip from intel designed for laptops very cheaply and get a PCI adapter w/ antennae to put it into your desktop, but this isn't recommended.. mainly because I haven't done it before but am looking into it.

(e.g. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0038A ... d_i=507846 and http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005Q7 ... d_i=507846 but that PCIe mini to PCIe adapter is flimsy I hear.)
