Question / Help Stream Lagging with Decent Settings and a Great Computer

Hello,

I've been looking into streaming on Twitch recently with OBS, and I've run into some problems. I've been trying to stream Overwatch, and I've turned the game settings down to low. I'll definitely be streaming CS:GO in the future.

Log: http://pastebin.com/MXVsMjPH

Specs:
  • 24GB GSkill Ripjaws X RAM
  • Gigabyte GTX 960 4GB
  • Intel i5-4690K Devils Canyon
Internet:
  • 177 Down
  • 12 Up
I've been streaming on 2800 bitrate, 1920x1080 downscaled to 1280x720 at 30fps. From my research, these settings should be good for my setup and connection.

Here's a link to a VOD so you can see what the lag was like. https://www.twitch.tv/midnightswiss/v/72429324.

Hope you guys can help. Much appreciated!

The OBS log file you posted is incomplete and missing all the good parts. Post the whole thing, including copy and pasting the parts you have to scroll up or down to see.

Btw, i7 CPUs have been having a lot less trouble playing Overwatch and running OBS on the same computer at the same time. Hyperthreading finally matters. Try capping your frames, that has helped a lot of people in that game.
