Question / Help Stream lagging and low quality at high settings

Hey guys,

i have many problems with my stream on Twitch.

First of all, it is microlagging. Under my post, i added a link there u can see what i mean.

Second point: The quality is not that good. Its pixelated when im moving. I searched after solutions in the whole internet. :D

I hope that somebody can help me. I dont know further.

Hardware:

Processor: Intel i7 4790k without OC
Mainboard: ASRock B85 Anniversary Intel B85 So.1150
GPU: Sapphire AMD R9 380
RAM: 16GB (2x 8192MB) Crucial Ballistix Sport
8 GB Corsair XMS3
Disks: 250GB Crucial BX100 SSD
1000GB Seagate Desktop HDD

Settings:

3200 Bitrate
resolution: 1920x1080
downscale: 720p30
preset: medium
process priority class: normal
Download: 20 mb/s
Upload: 10 mb/s

Log File Analyze says:

dropped frames detected 1.1%
skipped frames detected
late frames detected 33.46%

OBS is actually running amazingly well, considering you're using Medium preset. Do you feel the "microlag" when playing the game or just when watching the stream?

Assuming your answer is "when playing the game", try using a custom x264 command of "threads=10". And if that doesn't work, change your preset to Fast.

As for the quality, you're not going to get it better unless you find someplace to stream to that allows higher bitrates. And then your average viewer will likely be in buffering hell.

Ah okay, i feel only the microlags, when im watching the stream.

I will turn down the preset.
