Question / Help Stream Lag while in game

So I was told to come here and post that I have in game lag while trying to stream... I got the stream to work but when I am in the stream I am constantly lagging. I dont care if I have to make my quality shit but I would like to be able to stream smoothly. Can you please help me out? Thanks!

Specs are as follows

GPU: GeForce GTX 760
CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 @ 3.2GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM

Hey Tek. Have you gone through the guide at twitch on setup?

Might want to start low and work your way up. Maybe try downscale to 720p first with the bitrate in that guide and see.

I definitely agree with the downscaling recommendation. You're going to be a bit CPU limited with that processor. Perhaps playing the game + trying to encode 1080p30fps is impacting performance more than you want. The jump from 720p to 1080p is pretty significant in regards to CPU encoding requirements.
