I added 2 seconds of delay in 0.45+ to account for frame drops.. I added another second in recent versions to buffer the scene for microphones and devices. so it ended up being buffered a while unfortunately. I may be able to reduce it by another second.

Any way for us to control that "lag"? Of course, I'd put it under Advanced options with a giant "CHANGE AT YOUR OWN RISK" sign on it, but it would be cool if we can mess around with it.

Currently, here's the situations. 600 milliesconds are currently buffered for the stream to account for mic and device audio delays. Then, 2-3 seconds are buffered for the frame drop buffer to minimize frames lost when having connectivity issues. So sometimes it can be almost 4 seconds of added delay. I can add an option to reduce stream delay, but it'd be only one less second at most currently. I can change the drop method of course, and get rid of that frame drop buffer, but it'd go back to the horrible "reactive" frame drop method. I think I will add that option.
