Anyone able to help get my stream so it isn't so choppy. I think its my PC that is having the problems, not my connection. Let me know if I need anymore information to make troubleshooting more simple.

Still looking for help with this. I have used XSplit and FFsplit with the same result as I get with OBS. XSplit has great customer support. I would rather not pay for the program though.

well you tried streaming with a way too high bitrate and the latest part was in 1080p your pc is most likely not able to handle 1080p streaming stay with 720@30 and lower the bitrate to around 2000-3000 and use the best filter and you should actually be fine

Something is wrong over here as well.
Getting dropped frames in the high 70s(%), when most days I have 0%.
Looks like Twitch.tv isn't able to handle all the traffic today (Saturday).

Tried changing the server from Frankfurt DE to Amsterdam NL to London UK -- same result.
Also tried streaming via TCPRelay v0.4 A1 (localhost rtmp server: http://strikerx3.blogspot.com.br/2013/0 ... pha-1.html) to the servers above -- same result.

It does seem though, that Partnered streamers are able to get better mileage and provide their viewers with a smoother experience in comparison.

I don't see anything particularly wrong with the logs outside of the fact you're attempting to do 1080p -- I generally don't recommend 1080p for most computers. It can cause that "lagging" feel on computers (even happens on mine and I have a pretty decent computer).

As others have said, 720p is usually that sweet spot for HD that works great for most PCs and still looks really good. Also you don't need that much bitrate for it either, I'd recommend reducing it to about 3000 or 3500 at most if doing 720p.

I agree with Jim, 720p is far a better choice, it doesnt require so good computers to cope with it and it also has a neat quality.

Hey guys I am able to stream at a decent frame rate now. However, occasionally my stream will disconnect. Again, let me know if I should include any additional information.

Alright cool, well the CFR weirdness should be fixed in the latest test version if you wanted to use that. Test version also includes some other fixes that may be beneficial in general as well.
