Hey! I really don`t understand. How do you tell to increase OP`s bitrate (it`s 20000 already) if youtube recommeds not more than 9000 for 1080p60fps stream? The problem is lack of bitrate, increase your bitrate or use a lower resolution to reduce marcoblocking during high motion.
this is just a recommendation. You can specify up to 52,000 kbps for the rtmp protocol if your Internet is capable of it and everything will work. I usually recommend setting between 12,500 - 25,000 kbps for FHD.Hey! I really don`t understand. Hey, what about it? These are official recommendations for streaming on youtube - https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2853702?hl=en I really can`t get it - if avc codec is so bad (blur when moving, really bad) then why does 1080p stream on youtube is even exist? If I make 25601440 output then I get a bit laggy result, not quite smooth which is unacceptable. I only had decent result once using streamlabs with 2560x1440 output and 8000 or 8900 bitrate. But streamlabs takes more CPU usage. Also after that I`ve tried few times to stream same game and few others with same settings (+-) in streamlabs but didn`t get smooth and clean picture like on that stream. From my experience streaming off of youtube is a weird one but you can achieve a good looking stream . What i do is use the stream key that will allow you to run the bitrate you want to run. When selecting the stream key per your resolution you will notice they have a bitrate range. From my understanding each key has a bitrate cap.
So if your wanting to stream at 20,000 bitrate you are going to want to run the 4k resolution stream key.
if i were you, i would leave everything how you had it on 1080p on the obs end, then trying using the 1440p stream key and lower the bitrate in obs to 13,000 since that is the cap for the 1440p stream key. Again, if you want to run the 20k bitrate then run the 4k stream key.
Give that a shot .
I am open to any corrections in my response. I am learning the YouTube stream quality myself and this is what has worked for me.
