Question / Help Stream help please

ok i am brand new to all of this....i have a hauppauge pvr...i want to stream my footage to twitch....yes i have a twitch account and i have my hauppauge installed...it records and shows up in the TME but when i go to obs no video shows up...i have went through several tutorials and still have a black screen.....the source field never has anything in it please help a noob out :)

Hauppauge cards are not supported by OBS currently. You will have to use window/monitor capture in order to grab the picture from the Hauppauge software, but it's not a very ideal solution.

That's what he meant. Card/box, same thing.

To add a source, right click the Sources box and say Add. You'll need to add a Monitor capture to grab the Hauppauge program window.
