so yeah got the software yesterday and overall i am very impressed with it.

however i have an issue with the stream hanging for a brief period of time maybe .800 of a second then resuming as normal.

thats all i have at the moment great job on this.

Use this tool to find the best twitch server to stream to (assuming you are using Twitch)

If that still doesn't solve the issue, you need to start lowering your bitrate.

Though I'm pretty sure it's a bitrate related problem, can you please post a log file?

Strange, you weren't dropping any frames. Try that JTVPing tool and change your server and see if it still happens.

I don't think this is the problem, but is there a reason you are using Monitor Capture? Window Capture and Game Capture are generally better.

it says there in the log i have 32x obc should i be using 64bit?

Not unless you are using Game Capture with Minecraft or 64bit WoW.

just lowered from 2000-1500 still occured then tried 1500-1000 quality was noticably worse and the problem still occured i`ll try a different server with the same method and see what happens then

I'm having people tell me that they are having general issues with Twitch and stream pausing like what you are saying. Do your VODs look fine?

okay so i changed the server to uk london primary and began dropping frames so ill add a log in a moment but here is this for now

how would i acquire previous versions of the software i have just been using the installer

also yes the vods are exactly as the live cast

it appears to not happen as frequently on version 0.452a btu still does occur i used this version on 2000 vbv max and buffer to the uk london secondary server.

unfortunately I couldn't say for sure what's causing the issue. I actually think there might be a twitch issue at the moment though, so I couldn't say one way or another

thanks for all the help so far i`ll be sure to post here if it resolves via twitch so anyone else that has a similar issue can be re-assured that it could be twitch at fault.

I think it was a Twitch problem. I had the same issue with my recordings the other day but they are fine now.
