Question / Help Stream goes red

We are a school starting to use OBS and NGINX to live stream morning announcements. Multiple times a week, the green square in the lower right will go red and the stream fails. The only way to close OBS is from the task manager.

We are using NGINX with RTMP\HLS, a preconfigured package I found.

Anyone have any thoughts as to why?
 
I have been testing with a device this morning. I can have OBS streaming to NGINX for 30 minutes, green the whole time. After one client connects it turns red within 1-5 minutes. Every time on my test machine. I am not an expert on video streaming, sorry.

I'm Joshua, a school teacher and blogger, working on an update for my third tutorial about NGINX with RTMP on Raspberry Pi and using it later as a streaming server for OBS. I will share the full bunch of tutorials whenever I'm ready (I will need to write a detailed guide how to use it for school streaming, so much work to do), if you're interested.
