Question / Help Stream + Game Lag when playing/streaming League of Legends Only

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am getting really bad lag on stream when trying to play league of legends. It doesn't pop up as dropped frames its only the image and game that lag really badly. To the point were I can't play the game properly as it lags so much. Any other pc game is completely fine to stream but not league. The client even becomes extremely laggy so I can't even pick a champion without the game freezing/lagging all the time.

I have attached the log from a test stream I did that should show the lag. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you referring to input lag, where when you move your mouse and click, it sometimes takes a second to perform the action in-game? But the frame rate is still high?

Also try changing your output to 1080p instead of 720. Surprisingly, it takes a bit of processing power to downscale the output.

Are you using game capture only? Is there also display capture in the same scene?
yeah only game capture. No display capture is on i have never used it. I know the other guy that commented says its is the GPU but it is literally impossible for it to be the GPU its running at like 40-60% which isn't even close to max. I can play many other games that are way more demanding than league and i get 0 lag. Its just league. I have tried messing with all the settings in game to see if that made a difference and it didn't.

I am at a loss here on what is causing this.

also i just checked and its the fps counter on obs that is spiking at really low numbers even without having the stream on. Like just having obs loaded with league on the screen through game capture produces lag.

Maybe I can look at your settings on TeamViewer? I can't really read the logs. When I get home in a bit you can show me if you want.

It’s currently 5am for me and I have been working on this all night. If you are around tomorrow (sorry later on today) I can share screens with you if you want.

Doing support via teamviewer is potentially extremely dangerous.

Also, having the streamelements plugin installed is causing a lot of log-vomit that makes the log extremely difficult to read.

bump Just to clarify the issue happens even when not streaming or recording. Once i open up obs with league of legends open obs get constant fps lag. It is not dropped frames its just fps lag.

So yes, you're definitely having GPU overload related issues.
Provide a screenshot of the graphics card tab of gpu-z please.
