Question / Help Stream Friend's PC

Hi there interwebs.
Me and my friends really need some help setting this thing up.
We wan't me to stream what is happening on his PC(one of his screen) -> with OBS running on my PC.

I have an Avermedia HD card if that makes anything easier, but my PC can easily handle streaming without it.

Would be really cool if anyone could help us set this up.

Well, if you are both located in the same building/room. You can simply get his monitor footage into your PC using the capture card. If you are located further away from each other, you would have to do a nginx server setup and a bit of configuration:

Synchronizing these two video sources can be a pain in the ass though. So be aware and good luck!

He is sitting right next to me, but we can't figure out what cables should go where when using the capture card ;/ any idea?

Depending on the connectors supported by the capture card. You would for example just connect hdmi out of his pc to your capture card. On his PC he sets windows to clone the output to the hdmi port and to his normal monitor.
