Question / Help Stream down-scaled resolution, but record original resolution?

Is it possible to stream the downscaled resolution, but simultaneously record the original resolution?
I don't see anyway to do this, but I'm hoping there's something hidden I've missed.

Not in the current version of OBS, but this should be possible with the rewrite. In the meantime a program like Dxtory used in conjunction with OBS can accomplish this via its DirectShow output support.

Or running two instances of OBS, though it can sometimes be complicated to capture a window/game twice. Just add -multi to your OBS shortcut and/or use profiles to activate the different settings:
