Hey, first time posting so I will try to get this right.
I have recently tried OBS for streaming hearthstone and the problem I am having is that every 15 mins or so, the stream crashes and automatically reboots, sometimes it does this over and over for a while but mainly it keeps working for another 15 mins or so before crashing again.
I have had a friend with a bit more knowledge of streaming trying to help me out and tried to find answers on the forums but have been unable to do so, if there is a post with a solution to this that I missed I apologize and hope you can link me to it.
My OBS settings are as following;
Encoding - Max Bitrate 1800 - Buffer Size 1800
(Have tried lower bitrates with no effect)
Broadcast Settings - Connected to EU: Stockholm, SE (My closest server), Auto-Reconnect checked, Auto Reconnect timeout 10 seconds
Video - Custom 1280x1024, Resolution Downscale 1.25 (1024x818), Filter Bilinear (fastest), FPS 30, disable Aero unchecked.
(The resolution downscale being a change I tried on a friends recommendation though had no effect)
Audio - No changed settings from default
Advanced - No changed settings from default
In case this is an issue with my computer not handling the stress these are the specs;
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3240 CPU @3.40 GHz
RAM 8,00 GB
64-bit operating system
Graphic: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
I added 3 logs from the evening of 2013-11-14 (there were 7 logs in total this night but was only allowed to upload 3 so I choose the 3 first ones).
I hope I have provided enough information to solve this issue, if not please explain what extra material I have to provide and how to do so.
Thanks for any help!
