Howdy. So, I recently went from using a laptop to a desktop. i used to stream games like Rocket League, PUBG, and some indies games on Facebook (for the fun of it) with no issues--the stream had a delay of around 10 seconds. The only difference between the laptop and the desktop is that the laptop had an SSD while the desktop has an HDD. I digress. The desktop is significantly better in terms of CPU, GPU, and RAM.
However, when I would stream games on the desktop, I would have a solid 25-30 second stream delay which is irritating because I usually have 8-10 friends that come along and watch, so I enjoy interacting with them. I've looked into every possible reason for weeks now. After testing several private streams on Facebook, I noticed that the delay was around 10 seconds until I opened any game. At that point, when the game would go full screen, the delay would increase by 8-15 seconds. Also, if I minimized from the game, it would add even more delay).
I quickly found a resolution: just play the games in windowed full screen mode. But, that doesn't go over so well with games like PUBG where frame rate is everything.
Is my issue normal? Is there a way to dodge this 30-second stream delay and go about playing in regular full screen mode, while maintaining the regular 10-second-ish delay? I'm 100% sure on this diagnosis.
